Love to go to Vancouver and Canada! The nature out there looks amazing. I know a Buddhist monk from Canada. He said most times of the year the climate is super cold. Steak had to be cold. Was resting 25 minutes for the yams & another 15 minutes for the cauliflower. So rested for probably 40+ minutes.

It is pretty difficult to serve a dish of bad Broccoli. Maybe they over cooked it or maybe it was too raw. Al dente is usually the best steamed method with butter on top. It's nice and steamy hot, on its way to being cooked through but pulled just before the crunch goes away. Most cooked veggies are best al dente and most of their nutrients are present.

Decades ago, McDonalds french fries were fried in beef tallow. Then, came the cholesterol scare and they changed to cooking oils.

There are a lot of people who don't really have much connection with their taste buds and therefore will lead people off into la la territory when it comes to good taste. Folks will confuse salt when in fact what they are really tasting are onions. Onion soup is full of sauté onions, butter and some seasoning and it seems like a salty taste when in fact its the onions. You also have folks out there who are picky eaters and will complain about salt all of the time. Unfortunately, those people have no idea how foods improve in taste when salt is used and a correct amount of it. Also, the same folks who complain usually don't use salt when they cook at home and won't use it at the table, so they are used to bland food from the moment they enter any restaurant.

Tim there isn’t that much food really, for the number of people, if they brought all the food at the same time you wouldn’t need to wait, you can start eating what’s in front of you instead of having to wait

Now I have a clue why Canadian government started dropping the interest rate. Look at how great value the meal is, with 10 courses including seafood, with big proportion of each dish. With the same quantity and quality here in Sydney, it will cost $1k above

That lechon kawali was mouthwatering. I’m so jealous. I can’t find a decent Filipino restaurant let alone a Filipino buffet here in Sydney . Some Filipino takeaway were awful taste . 2 small dishes and rice cost Aud$15. Crispy Pata cost $30. So I stop buying Filipino takeaway. I just cook myself. My family loves Chinese food and yumcha so that’s where we go every week Thank you for sharing Tim. I enjoyed watching you eat hahaha.

Huge assortment of great food but im not going there to fill up on rice or noodles and the cheap meats. Id be going after a few pounds of prime rib,smoked salmon,shrimps, and crab. afterwards load up on tiramisu and cheesecake for desert. Hopefully end up ahead and cost them money😁

You’re only allowed one whole lobster and one lobster tail at a time…not sure how you got 2 of each at once…

That kind of buffet cost $60-$75 at Las Vegas Wynn . Palm Casino Las Vegas its all you can eat lobster, and other foods.

They do have some pretty tasty food, but the crab is hard to get your hands on because there are a lot of people that literally take the entire try for them as soon as it comes out.

Man I remember getting my grub at Jacob's then head over to Rutger Park to watch some ball. It didn't get much better than that.
